New Irish Feature Film Presented by the Irish Film Board / Bord Scannán na hÉireann GOLDFISH MEMORY Showing Thursday, May 8th at 8:15 p.m., Newcomb Hall Theatre ![]() GOLDFISH MEMORY star Flora Montgomery Courtesy The Irish Film Board A light romantic comedy, looking at the delights and perils of dating in Dublin, Goldfish Memory explores the interweaving lives of a variety of characters, presenting a contemporary view of social life. Clara sees her boyfriend Tom kissing Isolde, and this sets off a chain reaction of romances and heartbreaks, each character hoping to solve the question of how to attain a perfect relationship. The only thing they all agree on is that love is the one thing we can't live without. Starring Sean Campion (from the original cast of the acclaimed play Stones in His Pockets), Jean Butler (co-star of the original Riverdance) and Flora Montgomery (star of Roddy Doyle’s hit comedy When Brendan Met Trudy). This year Flora Montgomery represented Ireland as part of the “Shooting
Stars” event at the 2003 Berlin International Film Festival, where
four films featuring a “Shooting Star” were selected for
screening. Goldfish Memory was one of those and played to a
